Chris Tavener – Live In London – 4th April
Finally, I have now arrived in London for my first headline gig! I played live at ‘Noteworthy’ in London last night and tomorrow I’ll be hitting the stage at Aces & Eights, while especially road-testing some new songs!! Excitement indicated by excessive exclamations marks!!
This gig will be the sum of my hard work in touring around the South of England and the UK capital over the last year or so. Music industry people will be in attendance I’m told. Consequently, I’ll need fan support more than ever. Music from me that you can expect on the night includes songs about drunken romance, festivals, the end of the world and 2016 from my catalogue of work with some new material about…well, you’ll have to find out.
Musical talent will be present from right across the country, including the mesmerising Gracie Falls who has just won a songwriting award. The phenomenal Jake Watson and The Swamp Stomp String Band who have just released brand new foot-stomping music. Plus the Yorkshire-based master of ceremonies and Northern acoustic scene legend, Boss Caine. It’s due to be quite a special night for anyone interested in the UK live music scene today.
Tickets are just £6 for four fantastic acts. It’ll take place at Aces and Eights, 156-158 Fortess Rd, Tufnell Park, London NW5 2HP. The Sundown Sessions, hosted by Boss Caine, kicks off from 7:30pm. Be there or you’ll be wishing you had been!…
